In conclusion, there is hope for you. What has happened to you is inexcusable and not of God. Clergy sexual misconduct is abuse and not your fault. You can get through this season of your life if you choose to remove your trust in the abuser and put your trust firmly in God.
You do not have to obey an abusive spiritual leader. You can follow and trust God instead. There is help available for you in the form of counseling.
This is not the end of your life but the beginning of a new and better chapter for you. Healing will come. You are invited to trust God with the process as he provides all you need and more. You do not have to live in the darkness of oppression.
“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:20 ESV)
